7.5.3. Application methods
Phosphorous fertilizers are usually applied as a basal dressing. The basal fertilizers have to be applied just before final harrowing to allow thorough incorporation of the fertilizers with soil. However, later application can be practiced. But it should be not practiced later than the time of active tillering.
