3.5.4. Root distribution and plowing
Root distribution depends on depth of plowed layer. Deep plowing is good for deeper root penetration of rice plant. Plant roots can penetrate evenly and spread widely in deep layer of plowing. Shallow plowing restricts rice root growth.
