3.5.2. Root distribution
Root distribution depends on several factors, which are depth of the soil, depth of the plowed layer, downward movement of water, amount of air available, type of the irrigation, placement of fertilizer, and variety. It is good for roots to penetrate deeply and spread widely and evenly for uptake of nutrients from soil.
