7.6.3. Application methods
Potassium fertilizers are usually applied with nitrogen fertilizers as a basal dressing. The basal fertilizers have to be applied just before final harrowing to allow thorough incorporation of the fertilizers with soil. In case of split application, the fertilizers are topdressed at the panicle formation stage.
