5.4. Drybed method
Construct seedbed without water the same way as in the wetbed method. Cover seeds sown on the seedbed with soft soil. Immediately after covering the seeds, sprinkle the seedbed with water until it is saturated to effect higher and uniform germination. Any time the soil moisture drops below 70% saturation, sprinkle the seedbed.
