제69강. 형용사의 어순

①일반원칙: 두 개 이상의 형용사를 나열하고자 할 경우, 명사와 내용상의 관계가 밀접한 것을 명사에 가깝게 위치한다.

②세부원칙: 전치한정사+한정사+수량형용사+성상형용사+명사

※ 한정사: 관사, 지시사, 부정형용사, 의문형용사, 소유격, 부정수량형용사를 한정사라고 한다. (장수용, 그래머헌터)

- 관사, 지시사: a, an, the, this, these, that, those

- 부정형용사: some, any, no, each, every, either, neither

- 의문형용사: what, whatever, which, whichever

- 소유격: my, your, her, his, their

- 부정수량형용사: much, many, more, most, little, few, enough, several

※ 전치한정사

- 전치한정사의 종류: all, both, half, double, 배수사(twice, two times, three times 등)

- 전치한정사는 다른 한정사 앞에 온다. all the time, both the boys,

- 전치한정사는 ‘every, either, neither, each, some, any, no’와 함께 쓰지 않는다.

1. 전치 한정사 all, both, half, such, double, 배수사(twice, two times, three times)는 앞에 온다.

- All  the boys are diligent. Both  my parents are alive. I nerver saw  such  a active man. I worked for  half  an hour. 반시간. This is  twice  as long as that. 두 배 긴. Cats sleep  twice  as much as people. 두 배 많이. The chimpanzee lives  two times  longer than the giraffe. 두 배 오래

 

2. 관사 + 성상형용사 + 명사

-an old woman, the red flower, a good girl 등

 

3. 소유격/대명형용사/수사 + 성상형용사 + 명사

- Dr. Ryu's beautiful wife. 제 아내가 예쁘지는 않으나 그냥 표현해 봤습니다.

- my dear wife

- that old desk

- three brown dogs

 

4. 수량형용사 + 성상형용사 + 명사

- a little red wine 조금의 적 포도주

- much white wine 많은 백포도주

- many red tomatoes 많은 붉은 토마토

- a few short trees 몇 그루의 작은 나무들

 

5. 관사/대명형용사 + 수량형용사 + 성상 형용사 + 명사

- the three pretty girl

- those five yellow flowers

 

6. 먼저 오는 형용사 순서

- 전치한정사

- 한정사/관사/대명형용사

- 수량형용사(서수, 기수)

- 성상형용사(대소,형상,성질,색깔,신구,소속,재료)

 

7. 지시+수량+대소+성질+신구+재료+명사, 즉 "지수대성신재 "
