영문법강의는, 아직 보완강의가 끝나지 않은 것이 20강인데, 보완 강의는 여러 다른 할 일이 있어 2014년 후반에나 시작될 것 같음. 이미 여러 자료가 있으니, 공부하기 바라며, 의문이 있을 경우 주저치 말고 질문하면 답변해 주겠음.

아래는 미얀마 농민을 위해서 본인이 집필하고 있는 영문 벼 영농교본중에서 볍씨 싹 튀우기에 관한 내용인데, 집필이 일차로 완성된 것이다. 공부하는 사람들을 위해서 공개한다. 60 이라고 하는 번호는 교정 출판과정에서 자료를 쉽게 다루기 위해서 임시로 붙여 논 아이디이다. 출판시에는 물론 삭제될 것이다.

 

4) Incubating 59

  Incubating is the second of two steps for pregerminating seeds. Pregerminated seeds are less affected by adverse conditions in the field because they start to grow immediately. After soaking, the water is drained off and then the soaked seeds are washed with fresh water to remove odor. The seeds which are filled to half capacity of a cloth bag or a gunny sack are to be placed in an appropriate container. For a large quantity of seeds, a large bag or cement concrete floor can be used. The seeds are spread on a floor and then covered with moist cloth bags. At normal room temperature of 27℃, the incubation period of seeds intended for wetbed seeding must be 24 to 36 hours. For a dapog seedbed, the period must be 36 to 48 hours.
