7.6.2. Appling amounts and rates

According to many data and research results, 28-93 kg potassium per hectare is applied to rice crop. Generally potassium fertilizers are applied with nitrogen fertilizers as the basal dressing. Split application can be also practiced as the basal and topdressing at the panicle formation stage to increase number of panicles and spikelets.
